Hanover has some of the best kept older housing we work on, and the job there is a little different from anywhere else we go. The roof still has to keep water out through a New Hampshire winter, but it also has to look right on a house people notice, which affects the shingle profile, the color and how visible things like vents and snow guards end up being. We would rather talk that through properly at the estimate than have you see the finished roof and wish we had. Mature trees are the other constant here: shade holds moisture on north slopes, and overhanging limbs drop debris into valleys all year.
