Here is how a job goes with us. You call, we come out and get on the roof or up the ladder and actually look, and then you get a written price that covers the whole job instead of a number that grows once we start. When the work happens we tarp what needs covering, keep the staging tight so your driveway stays usable, and run a magnet over the lawn and the drive before we leave. If we find rotten decking or a leak that started somewhere other than where you thought, we show you a photo of it before we touch it. And if you call us out and the answer is that you have got another five years in that roof, we will tell you that instead of selling you one.

The price depends on the size and pitch of your roof, the material you choose, how much needs to be removed, and any repairs needed underneath. A straightforward shingle roof is a different job from a steep roof with several valleys or a standing seam metal roof. We will come look, talk through the options, and give you a written estimate. Yes. Roofing is the biggest part of what we do, but we also install siding, replacement windows, and entry and patio doors. If you have more than one exterior project in mind, tell us when we come out. We can talk through what needs attention and what makes sense to do together.
A repair may be enough when the problem is limited to one area and the rest of the roof is in good shape. Widespread wear, repeated leaks, or damage to the wood underneath may point toward replacement. We will look at the whole roof, show you what we find, and explain which option makes sense.
Most shingle roof replacements take one to three days, including cleanup. Metal roofing can take longer. The size and shape of the roof, repairs underneath, and the weather all affect the schedule. We will talk through the expected timing when we look at your roof and keep you updated if it changes.
Call us to have the roof looked at if you notice a leak, missing shingles, or other signs of damage. Some problems are hard to see from the ground, so let us know if you are unsure. We will inspect it, show you what we find, and explain any work it needs.
Sometimes, depending on the condition of the existing roof and the roofing system being installed. A roof-over can be an option when keeping the upfront cost down matters, but it is not right for every roof. Removing the old roofing lets us inspect the decking and address hidden damage. We will look at your roof, talk through your budget, and explain the tradeoffs before recommending an approach.
Roofing is messy work, but cleanup is part of the job. We cover the ground and plantings around the work area, talk with you about where to put equipment, and run a magnet over the lawn and driveway to pick up nails before we leave.
